The modern industry standard salons are training facilities for the College's Beauty Therapy and Hairdressing students, alongside being open to the public for a range of competitively priced hair and beauty treatments. The beauty salons offer manicures, pedicures, waxing and massage, while the hair salons will update your style with the latest colours and cuts.

I currently attend College four days a week and have practical lessons every day. We cover all the basics from cutting to colouring and setting. We start on hair blocks until we have built up our confidence and then move onto real-life clients in the College鈥檚 Style Academy.鈥�

鈥淚 was a qualified dance teacher but I had a real interest in the hair and fashion industry. The speed that the industry moves and keeps developing really made me want to be part of that. I felt an apprenticeship was right for me, as I did not want to go back into full time education and the opportunity to earn whilst you learn appealed to me.
My time spent at college allows me to develop and practise the skills I learn in the salon and I get support from my lecturers. The groups are small and it is a nice environment with good facilities, which is a great starting point for anyone progressing into the industry.鈥�
